Privacy and cookies

Opulence Trips processes information needed for accounts, searches, requests, offers, bookings, ticketing, payments, communications, support, security and applicable obligations.

This may include account identifiers, name, email, phone, identification document when needed, travel details, acceptance records, booking history, booking references, ticket numbers and non-sensitive payment identifiers.

Full card details are processed by Stripe and are not received or stored by Opulence Trips.

When necessary, information may be shared with airlines, travel suppliers, Stripe, Base44, Zoho Mail, Replit, data and infrastructure providers, professional advisers and competent authorities. International processing is subject to the safeguards required for the relevant transfer.

Standard retention periods are: 24-month inactivity review for accounts; 12 months for unsuccessful requests, abandoned payment attempts and routine email records; 5 years for issued bookings, financial records and Lowest Price Guarantee evidence; 3 years for closed privacy and support requests; identification details until 90 days after travel; application access logs for at least 6 months and normally 12 months; and rolling backups for up to 90 days.

Identification-document copies, if exceptionally required, are normally deleted within 30 days after ticket issuance, or no later than 30 days after travel or final resolution when continued use is demonstrably necessary. Shorter periods apply when the purpose ends earlier; extensions require a documented obligation or legal hold.

The application code used for this version does not intentionally load optional analytics, advertising, behavioural tracking or chat technologies. It uses essential technologies for site operation, authentication, session protection, security and the booking journey, including local or session storage where necessary. Stripe, Base44 and other essential service providers may use their own necessary technologies.

No consent banner is displayed while only these necessary technologies are active. Optional analytics, advertising or behavioural tracking must remain disabled unless this notice is updated and, where required, the user can make a choice before the technology is loaded.
